ABOUT

Hey!
Small backstory... I played drums from age 14-18 which was the point when I moved to the Gold Coast from the UK.
I used to do garage sessions etc. with a few local mates as well as weekly lessons with the drummer of a local Ska Punk band.
Unfortunately I couldn't get back into it straight after the move as it took my kit 6 months to be shipped over by which time I had to focus on work etc.
I played a handful of times in between with some musicians I met through work but this was a rare occurrence and my skills were starting to slip!
Well 9 years after moving I got bored, bought an electronic kit to practice at home, stepped out of management and back to part time at work for little other reason than to get back on that horsey.

I have been playing again since April and luckily it doesn't seem to be taking me too long to pick my skills back up to scratch and I am starting to progress again as I aim for at least 5 hours of practice a week.

I'm looking for some people interested in putting a band together of course and I'm not too bothered about skill level or age as for now I just want to have a bit of fun before I take things a little more seriously as my skills progress. I love to have a laugh and I'm easy to get along with so i expect to have a good time with whatever opportunity arises!
