SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Professional musician been playing in bands, duo's, trios and as a soloist for over 30 years. Worked in cover bands/pub bands in the eighties and nineties doing 60s, 70s and 80s covers, also performed in Theatre restaurant and toured with a stage show in the early nineties. Looking for a gig as a multi - instrumentalist (Lead/Rhythm guitar , 5 string banjo, Pedal Steel, Dobro, Mandolin) sing harmonies and lead vocals. Over the years I have forgotten how many acts I have backed at festival's and venues. As a result I can adlib with pretty much anyone and play off the cuff. Country is my love, but it's a hard road. I played all the rock and cover band stuff in years gone by and prefer these days to hopefully follow my heart in music. Having said that I am open to most things. I've toured with country artists, and various rock cover bands, Not committed to any band or artist at the moment. Quite happy to sit in or join the right outfit or to tour with the right band or artist. msg me 0438 689 553 www.alanpercy.com

Influences
Way to many to mention here, liked and been influenced by different genres over the years. The Beatles, The Eagles, Bob Seger, heaps.... But I would have to say that country music has always been my main love but certainly not my income when it came to music. Certainly American country roots artists like Haggard, Owens, Cash, Parsons etc.. is what I cut my teeth on. These days it's throw in Jackson, Currington, Nichols, Brooks and Dunn etc.. Musicians: Certainly Brent Mason, Albert Lee, Paul Franklin, Ralph Mooney.
