Looking to start / join band / jam sessions after some years away. Played Rhythm in a rock/blues band in Scotland in the 1980s with a lot of gigs - 2 and sometimes 3 per week for several years. Not a fast or highly technical lead guitarist, but I can play some lead and working on improving. Rock steady rhythm.
I'm basically an old rocker. I like to play down and dirty bluesy rock most of all.
Covers are OK, but I like to do something different from the original rather than just a straight copy. Having said that, I might possibly be persuaded to join in with a Pink Floyd or a Crazy Horse tribute band...
I am absolutely not interested in anything with a religious theme.
I like folk and folk rock music too. Some of the stuff I record on my own comes out kinda poppy, folky or jazzy.
Happy to include some acoustic.
Probably a bunch of other old farts like myself would be best :)
