Hi all, am a 29 year old female vocalist/songwriter. Am seeking others to collaborate with in the genre of trip hop, I am already working on my own productions that have received positive feedback so far. Am looking for a samplist/beatmaker and/or turntablist if there are any about! Also looking for a guitarist that can play jazz. I absolutely love this genre, and my sound so far has been likened to Portishead and Bjork. As an overview I'd say I'm trying to make a mix of electronic, jazz, lounge and hip hop, but I'm sure like me you musos out there don't like to use too many labels on your work. :) If you're interested please feel free to get in contact, am in Melbourne west, am willing to travel to somewhere a bit more central if needed. Have put down a list of the kind of music I am heading toward. Am also very down to earth and by no means a diva lol looking for others that genuinely want to make this kind of music and can have a laugh :)
