ABOUT

Seeking Drummer and Keyboard/Synth Player for southside cover band project, to join lead singer/rhythm guitarist, bass player and lead guitarist. Backing vocals a bonus, but not essential.

We're three guys with (mostly) grown up kids who have played together over the past few years doing occasional local gigs and regular rehearsals for fun and the challenge. We're all pretty busy with work and family life, so frequent gigging is not on our radar at this time.

Rock, synth/pop, new wave, soul, blues, funk - its all on the table if the song is a gem and gets people up and singing/dancing. Just not the overplayed stuff, or slow and melancholy tunes.

We're focussed on fun and enjoyment, and not drama or angst. We live around Yeronga - Moorooka - Tarragindi area, and plan to rehearse weekly at a studio space we've used a lot in Archerfield. Once we get a 2 or 3 sets worth of music together, we'll start planning occasional gigs.

If you're in your 40s and up, keen to practice and learn new songs each week, or have already got lots of experience under your belt - then reach out and lets get together and see how we gel. If you haven't picked up the sticks, or tweaked some ADSR slider settings since Duran Duran slayed Rio, that's OK, it'll come back to you like riding a bike.
