ABOUT

Hi, So basically I’m a normal friendly 40 year old guy with many years of gigging under the belt. Have played in a range bands with styles ranging from folk/Irish music, top 40 cover bands, wedding bands, jazz quartets and funk soul bands. I’m newish to SA and looking to make connections musically. Open to trying many styles of music. Haven’t played as much as I would have liked in the past 10 years with kids and family but now I’m free (kids grown up) and I have time to commit to music once again.
I have worked in a guitar shop in the late 90’s so I have a lot of experience with gear and working in the industry.
I can play bass to a high level as my primary instrument, I’m not a VCA pro student, I have lots to improve on like everyone.
My primary interest is in playing bass in a group of easygoing musicians.
I’m done with trying to be famous my ego is well gone, so I’m looking for a easygoing like minded musicians who are interested in playing together and exploring their limits. Contact 0448833686

I’ve had a go at everything. I’ve listened to everything. Love Miles Davis. Grew up on chilli peppers and funk players.
My tastes are so broad, I really do like a wide range of everything, and i can generally appreciate something in most styles of music.
