Vocalist and Harmonica player, experienced in rockabilly, blues, folk, acapella and rock, seeking to make music with good people. Happy to work on covers or originals.
I have years of experience in other performance genres including theatre, comedy and improv comedy, so not shy of the limelight, and understand how to fell the crowd and adapt to what they want.
I prefer to work collaboratively to create a good sound and a good vibe. I love a good harmony, and my preferences in terms of music are wide.
For me, making music with other people is a kind of magic. Not seeking a full-on career, mostly just the challenge and the enjoyment, but would embrace a career if it happened.
I would love also to sing with other singers, as I love vocal harmonies, but not so interested in gospel.
I can play chords on guitar at a pinch, and a few other instruments a bit - Tin Whistle, Bodhrán.

Influences
Hard to say, as it’s so wide ranging, but I love blues, old school Rhythm an blues, soul, rockabilly, some country, post punk, reggae, 80s pop, glam metal, folk, Celtic, electronica hell I’ll even bust out a good C13th Icelandic hymn if it’s going. So long as it has soul, harmony, groove, is twisted, kick-ass or is just plain old fun. Not a fan of Nu Metal, Death Metal, R&B or hip-hop (though I appreciate it, it’s not for me to sing).
