I've been a guitarist/singer since my teens. I recently (september 2012) moved from Canada to the Sunshine Coast. I've worked solo, in duo's and in acoustic bands for many years. Recently in 2 separate bands in Canada. One an acoustic band playing a mix of original and other songs and the other a bluegrass band. Influences
Early influences being Harry Chapin, James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, Jim Croce in the singer/songwriter tradition with a leaning towards story songs. I also flatpick irish filddle tunes bluegrass style and enjoy good quality acoustic music in the style of Alison Krause and other similar acoustic bands. have ventured into many different styles of music but prefer folk, blues, irish/celtic, bluegrass and similar styles but all with acoustic instruments. Played in many acoustic/bluegrass bands in Canada.
