ABOUT

Hey! I'm a guitarist that has been playing for 28yrs. Relocated back to Aus in Jan 2022 after spending 16yrs in the USA. Newly settled in Shorncliffe, QLD. I'm 46yrs old.

I played 200+ live shows across the U.S between 2016 & 2021 with my old band “Penrose”. Was lucky enough to write and perform with amazing bandmates at a venues of all sizes, play on live TV/Radio and tour around the western U.S. Played my last show with them in mid 2021 when I relocated with wife back to Australia (wife work opportunity in so we made the move back).

New to QLD so looking for some local musos north of Bris to jam and hang with.

Influences are a bit of a mixed bag (like everyone) but playing wise I started way back when as an acoustic player then found metal and alternative music in high school, later did a ton of weddings in an acoustic duo doing all the classics, then into fusion then blues, then pop. Recording & audio engineering has also been a passion for many years.

What I'm after:
Keen to meet some local musos and see who's out there! Not really pushing to perform but always happy to roll with whatever might happen.

Not after:
Not looking for remote touring or have desires for world domination. Also not really looking to do the mid-afternoon acoustic covers duo/trio type thing that all the pubs and small clubs seem to put on almost exclusively now days.
