ABOUT

Sydney metal band BY THE HORNS are seeking a VOCALIST
And DRUMMER

We are currently rehearsing out of Auburn and working on a new batch of songs as a three piece.
The band went on hold during Covid and sadly our drummer decided he would not be returning.
Would really love to fill out the line-up and get back out there.

Have at times referred to our style as groove metal but could possibly come under metal core depending on what happens with the vocals.

Have always had a blast when we perform our music and audiences seem to get swept up in the energy - but we need everyone in the band to be committed to learning their parts and working with each other.

looking for a vocalist who can do harsher styles without destroying their voice and preferably they can sing as well - stage presence a bonus

looking for a drummer who can keep in time - has a stage worthy kit and their own transport.

preferably dudes - not too interested in the more extreme styles of metal like grindcore or blackmetal- (no hate intended - we do not want to waste anyone's time or have our time wasted)

we are all currently in our 30's and early 40's

to the "new wave" (which isn't so new anymore haha) of american heavy metal (trivium, lamb of god, in flames, killswitch engage)
