Experienced Guitarist Looking to form a Devo Tribute Band. I'm down for the Bob Mothersbaugh (Bob 1) guitar role. I'm seeking musicians to fill the other roles within the band (Mark Mothersbaugh - Vocals, Keyboards, Guitar; Gerald Casale - Vocals, Bass Synth, Bass Guitar; Bob Casale - Guitars, Keyboards, Backing Vocals; Alan Myers - Drums, Electronic Percussion).
Assisting me in this project is Ken Evans of local Brisbane Electronic act "Tycho Brahe" who most recently supported Human League on their 2024 tour of Australia. Ken also provides programming and backing tracks for former New Order bassist Peter Hook's current outfit "Peter Hook and the Light".
We are seeking people who are into the Devo aesthetic and will enjoy getting into the finer details of the bands performance and be able to look and sound the part.
Once the lineup is established, the goal is to tour Australia and other regions.
