Amateur but somewhat experienced and committed. Preferring to play bass.
Looking for like minded types who want to get together, practice properly and polish up a really good repertoire. Not specifically aiming to gig but not against it and if the musical relationship leads that way then so be it.
Have played guitar since mid 90s and largely self taught but picked up bass earlier this year and loving it. Played drums as a kid so bass is a natural progression.
Mainly looking for a band that needs a bass but open to other opportunities. Living Lower Northern Beaches and something local is most likely to be sustainable.

Influences
Grew up listening to Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Gunners, Metallica, Chilli Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, Jebediah, Living End, Hendrix, Zeppelin, INXS, AC/DC, U2, Queen, SRV, Radiohead, Stones, Bon Jovi, Chisel, Foo Fighters, The Doors, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Tool, Grinspoon, Powderfinger, Oasis. Not necessarily in that order. Expanded outwards from there. You get the idea. These days have added other elements like some Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, James Brown.
