Chris started learning music at the age of 5. His first instrument was the piano. However, he picked up the saxophone at the age of 7, and it became his favourite instrument. Chris is currently preparing for his AMEB AMusA under the guidance and teaching of Adam Robinson. Chris participated in several Eisteddfods achieving excellent results, including winning Eisteddfod section Saxophone 20 and Under in 2022. He came 2nd and 3rd in the Performance section in the prestigious Sutherland Shire Youth Music Awards in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Chris reads music fluently. He performed in various bands as part of Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, including being a lead saxophonist in the Jazz Orchestra in 2021-2022.
