ABOUT

Born in Sydney and growing up on the Eastern Beaches, Chris learnt guitar from his older cousin (Louise, who coincidentally lived next door) at around age 4. Losing his father early on in 1968, at the (more than tender) age of 2 to a rocket blast, whilst attempting to save the life of a US CIA Operative, in the southern town of Baria, Vietnam, Chris became very independent at an early age. Trying to be a father to his even younger brother and a friend to his mother, things didn't always work out for the best. Chris sought solace in music, poetry and performing.
Chris was schooled in Sydney's Eastern beachside Suburbs where music was taught through choir and band, he always used it as an excuse to get out of school and/or homework.
Chris was members of several bands in high school and throughout the 80's & 90's working in Sydney's east and in Regional NSW, but never really had enough time to fully devote the effort needed to be a pro and earn a living. Now in his mid 40's and some more free time, Chris is embarking on what he has always had a passion for, writing and performing his own music as well as some covers.
