I played in several bands in the eighties and did the usual pub circuit. Most of those venues are now sadly gone. I played in four piece covers bands as well as a nine piece bush band. Then life got in the way with raising two sons. Both of whom learnt the drums. I am now back jamming again with some great people and looking for some more to join our group. I am luckier than most as my wife has been in several of the bands in the early days and is with me in this one. I / we may be older but we still enjoy being musicians together.

Influences
CCR, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Led Zeppelin. John Fogerty, George Thorogood. There are many other bands and solo artists that I like to play the songs of. My philosophy is if I like the sound of the bass on a song I like to learn it and then play it.
EQUIPMENT
I have four bass guitars. Ibanez Musician Bass 4 string original from the early eighties. Two Ltds. A B-205sm and FB-208. Yes the last one is an eight string. An Ibanez 4 string acoustic. I have a few effects boards and several bass amps and keyboard amps as well that I use.
