Trained on the accordion, bought an electric guitar at 15 and it corrupted me. Have Charvel and Gretsch guitars, Casio keyboard, amp. Played in 3 serious bands in the 90s, probably around 50 gigs. Came back to music after kids grew up. I also have many songs in various stages of completion. Happy to jam, fill in gig if necessary. Sorry I am tone deaf when I sing but will give it a go. I had more equipment once but lent it to people in bands who I don't know anymore.
I'm interested in cutting an album and playing gigs. Looking for musos who are fun but at least semi professional. Original or cover/tribute is ok.

Influences
Bandmix wants 4 genres. I want to tick them all. Blues, 70s / 80s, covers and originals. I can play along with just about anything on Gold or MMM. To give an indication:
First band: Stones, Black Crowes, Diesel, Kiss, Screaming Jets, Poison, Hendrix
Second band: Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, some metal
Third band: Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, The Doors.
Fourth band (studio only - no gigs), industrial metal
As long as it gets feet tapping I'll play it. I just played the entire Gone Troppo album.
