Hey! We’re Chris and Josh (both 29), two musicians based in Melbourne – Chris in Southbank and Josh in Bundoora – looking to start a band or join an early-stage project. We’re into a range of styles, mostly rock and alternative, but we’re leaning towards something heavier.
About us:
Chris (Right) – Mainly a bassist but also plays rhythm guitar. Has past band experience and is keen to get back into it, though a bit rusty. Open to sticking with bass or experimenting with rhythm guitar and vocals (though still testing the waters on that front).
Josh (Left) – Primarily a rhythm guitarist, but open to a co-rhythm/lead role. Has a jam-ready garage setup in Bundoora and enjoys experimenting with sounds. Looking to collaborate, bounce ideas around, and develop something with a shared vision.
We’ve played together before and have a few recordings (nothing pro, but decent for reference). Both of us are on digital rigs and still figuring out the best tones, so anyone with digital experience would be a bonus.
Mostly, we’re looking for fun but driven people who are keen to jam, hang out, and eventually gig.
We’re available most weeknights, Fridays, Sundays, and Saturdays after 3pm. We’ve got our own transport and are happy to chip in for a rehearsal space if needed.
