Hey there!
Getting my feelers out there and trying to get together an acoustic duo. I've been playing music since I was 11, but never actually got round to getting serious with it until I was 19. I predominately play acoustic guitar with lead singing and back up singing. I used to gig weekly around Adelaide for 4 years with my sister, ranging from small pub gigs to large events and functions like weddings, anniversaries, birthdays etc, but unfortunately I had to say goodbye to that as I moved back to Melbourne to finish my university degree.
I love music. I grew up in a household that was constantly playing music and with a family of musicians. I enjoy it too much to make a career out of it (just living a realistic lifestyle) but I enjoy it too much to not perform at all, so part time gigging is somewhere in the middle.
I'm preferably looking for a male guitarist (20-35 years) who would love to form an acoustic duo to create that raw, authentic sound you get from live gigging. Females are more than welcome too! It'd be great if you can sing too, doesn't have to be anything super fancy, just enough to get that amazing harmonic sound. If you don't have gigging experience, no sweat... comes with practice anyway... if you do, bonus!!
Anyway, just hoping to make some amazing music with around Melbourne, few covers here and there and maybe even some originals!
