ABOUT DARKSHORE

We are two passionate and experienced musicians creating a heavy progressive/alternative project. Our music combines dynamic, intricate compositions with groove, atmosphere, and a strong low-end. We need a bassist who can match that energy and bring creative basslines to the mix.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

An exceptional bassist who is:

–> Highly proficient: Tight playing, capable of building lush soundscapes, laying down chunky grooves, and navigating odd meters and modulations.
–> Collaborative: Able to contribute to the rhythmic foundation while exploring both melodic and percussive elements.
–> Creative and reliable: Committed to our shared vision, regular practices, and gigs.

While not required, we welcome players with diverse backgrounds, especially those influenced by fusion/funk styles who can bring fresh ideas to syncopation-heavy rhythms and melody.

OUR SOUND & EQUIPMENT

We have five complete songs and two singles released ("The Cost" and "Hopeless"). Backing tracks are used live for a big, modern atmosphere. We have a professional studio for recording and practice.
