SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Vocalist - Soprano, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Piano, Background Singer.ABOUT
I play around with lots of things but BASS is what I do best!
I am pretty much open to anything these days, but here is little history...
I've played in lots of bands over the years, both cover bands as well as original music projects. I prefer being creative, working with others to write music. But recreating cover songs and making them unique to the band is always fun too.
I grew up listening to lots of different bands, 60's thru the 80's. I was always mostly into metal and progressive rock. Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest at one end, and Yes, Rush & Genesis at the other.
Today I still enjoy hearing that stuff and playing it once in a while. I've really gotten into jazz in recent years, but can't really play it, lol. I love Victor Wooten, Pat Metheny, Bela Fleck, Weather Report, Oz Not and many others. Lately I've only been playing with the band at my church each Sunday doing contemporary worship stuff. It's keeping me playing but I'd like to do more.

Dark City remix - Tender Fall (2024) Track number: 12 Year: 2024 Album: Dark City by Tender Fall
I was given this song with no concept for a bass part. I didn't spend much time on it but it came together pretty well. Check out more from the band Tender Fall here: https://tenderfall.bandcamp.com

Personal Property - the Villas (2003) Track number: 2 Year: 2003 Album: The Villas - Set For Life Genre: Alternative
I had a lot of fun working with this band and creating the bass lines for the songs. Prior to working with them I mostly played metal so this was a big switch for me which allowed me to grow.

Crush - Drop Down (2004)
Crush - Drop Down (2004) Year: 2004 Genre: Metal
Written as a trio for a singer that we never found. These were tracked in the drummer's basement. I chopped them a bit to make them shorter and avoid too much repetition for verses and such.

Fun little song! I don't think I've played so many notes in less than two minutes before!

You've Been Warned - Brute Force (1986) Year: 1986 Genre: Metal
This was one of my favourite bands from way back in the day. Based in northern NJ, Brute Force was a pretty awesome metal band on the scene. I got lots of gigging experience and every new song we wrote challenged me to improve. Miss these guys!
