Band to Join.ABOUT
Been playing guitar for just over 4 years. Starting to work on vocals (results not too bad so far, if a little baritone). Would like to meet up with similar musos for jams etc. and see where it goes. I would be keen to put a band together if it works out.
I've come into music later in life and will have less experience than most on here who are coming back to music after a break. I am however keen to learn and willing to work hard to make up the gap. So it'd be great if there's a few people like myself, where we can learn this stuff together, or if any more experienced musicians want to get together for fun (and they have a little patience!).
I'm currently working on both the electric and acoustic guitar, with the acoustic mostly aimed at 'busking' (to cover the singing side as well), so I'm pretty flexible as to genre.
Work commitments mean that my free time is generally evenings and weekends.

Influences
The usual Clapton/Cream, Hendrix, AC/DC, Guns and Roses, SRV and Gary Moore (if I ever get good enough). Really enjoy classic pub rock (Chisel, Lenny Kravitz, Hunters and Collectors, Silverchair etc.) and good pop (Oasis etc.)
