Hi, I'm Dave! Originally from Melbourne, I'm a drummer with 25+ years of experience in live performance, studio recording, and teaching students of all levels.

I play a wide range of styles, including solid pocket grooves, funk, hard-hitting rock, syncopated prog, metal with intricate double-kick work, jazz-fusion, and more. My interests lie in odd time signatures, unique phrasing, and modulations, but I’m equally happy to join a band outside of that niche that's focused on solid groove and musicianship.

Beyond drums, I play bass, rhythm guitar, and have strong mix engineering skills. My acoustically treated studio is fully equipped for recording and practice (with PA), and I’m experienced with playing to clicks and backing tracks.
