Hi, I'm Dave! Originally from Melbourne, I'm a drummer with 25+ years of experience in live performance, studio recording, and teaching students of all levels.

I play across a wide range of musical styles – solid pocket grooves, funk, hard-hitting rock, syncopated prog, metal with intricate double-kick work, jazz-fusion, and everything in between. I enjoy exploring odd time signatures, unique phrasings, modulations, and pushing creative boundaries – when the music calls for it.

I'm open to joining a band with proficient musicians if the music aligns with my style, and I also offer session drumming for live performances and studio recordings.

Beyond drums, I play bass, rhythm guitar, and have strong mix engineering skills. My acoustically treated studio is fully equipped for recording and practice, and I’m adept at playing to a click or backing tracks.
