SEEKING
Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Drums, Other Percussion, Trumpet, Saxophone, Keyboard, Flute, Other, Trombone.ABOUT
I'm a jazz/swing vocalist, mostly along the lines of Sinatra, but also incorporate Cole, Martin, Fitzgerald, Torme, Darin, Williams, Monro etc etc etc - most Rats from the pack and would-be's.
Although I play keyboards, I can't sing and play at the same time (unlike Nat, who was a master at it!)
I'd like to find a band/group that plays the kind of music akin to the Rat Pack era mostly.
I've busked with backing tracks, but it ain't the same. I often sing with the Sunshine Coast Concert Band, a 30+ pc brass & wind ensemble that plays for charity and NFP events, and is mostly comprised of elderly musicians - no offence at all!
I sound a helluva lot like Frank, Dino or Nat when doing their stuff, so I'd love to find some sort of a tribute band that can play the music as arranged by Riddle, Jones, Ellington, Basie, Kern etc. and with that kind of passion.

CALENDAR
Past Events
Come join us down at Tickle Park for Coolum Beach Christian College's annual Christmas Carols in the Park.
There will be many other artists contributing, and I'll be singing a couple of great swing Christmas songs that I haven't actually decided on yet!
Currimnundi's annual Lights On The Lake event is back on again this coming Christmas season, and they've asked me once again to do a few numbers, Christmas-themed of course!
It all gets underway around 4pm, lots of fun for all ages, and the boats will be on parade upon dusk.
See you there!
Come relax to the smooth sounds of crooner Dave Stygall, as we take a trip down Memory Lane (watch out for the speed bumps!) with Frank, Ella, Dean, Andy, Perry, Mel and whole bunch of other rats! All the hits from the Rat Pack era, as well as easy-listening ballads from before and after.
Situated directly across from the Birch Carol & Coyle cinema, The Factory is the perfect place for dining before the movie starts, or for light snacks and drinks after the curtain closes.

While browsing the lovely stalls at the markets this Sunday, make sure you slow down enough to relax to the smooth sounds of crooner Dave Stygall, as we take a trip down Memory Lane (watch out for those speed bumps!) with Frank, Ella, Dean, Andy, Perry, Mel and whole bunch of other rats! I'm usually situated near a coffee bar, which is a great way to rest and regain a bit of energy while enjoying the music. And by all means, feel free to tap your feet, hum along - hey, if there's room, why not grab your girl and trip the light fantastic!
Hope to see you there!
