I have played electric bass for many years and historically, gigged extensively, not that much lately though. Now retired, interest in playing music re-surfaced and I took up 6 string but now mainly used for 'sketching' musical ideas. First love was bass and decided to re-focus my musical efforts onto this instrument so new equipment and eventually an additional bass directed into this pursuit.
As a member of the Idle Retired Class, I have flexibility to rehearse and time to learn specific materials. Professional attitude to music. OK on theory.

Wide tastes in music, particularly but most certainly not exclusive to Progressive Rock e.g. Bloodwyn Pig. Pink Floyd, Piblokto, Jethro Tull. Dream Theatre, Also, Free, Police, ....many others.
Bassists I have drawn inspiration from: Glenn Cornick, Jack Bruce, James Jamerson, Paul McCartney.
