Hi, Im David, im 57 and live on the Gold Coast. Im a reasonably committed musician but I have a day job so dont need to rely on making a living from my music. I have been playing guitar for 20 years and play in several bands in Brisbane. I call them very good "B Grade" bands...for me and the bands, we play well, we rehearse (not always super regularly), we are releaxed about "freestyling the song" ..so dont always play it exactly the same each time and also most importantly, its about the friendships, the fun and learning. We have access to EXTENSIVE PA equipment and setups...yes extensive. Unlike many bands, our bands have PLAYED lived pretty consistently over the 15 years...we are happy to play once or twice a month.
Im LOOKING FOR A FEMALE VOCALIST (not necessarily massive experience) that would like to start rehearsing and jamming. ALANIS MORRISETTE, HEART, FLEETWOOD MAC.....Want a female singer that is comfortable with rocking out on this genre of music. Ultimate plan is to assemble a band of semi pro players and play pubs and events and the like.
