Please ignore the God-Awful audio tracks on my profile here - They're NOT mine! - Bandmix somehow put them on to my page there & then repeatedly ignored my requests to remove them
Ok? Now if you're still interested in me read on:
I'm over 60 ( look younger - I die the hair if I've got gigs but don't bother otherwise ) - got heaps of professional experience as a lead/rhythm guitarist and lead and harmony vocals - ex professional now part time whatever gigs I can get - solo duo or fill in with some bands - wide range of music genres based around 50's Rock n Roll, incl Shadows Cliff Richard, Everlys, Rockabilly, Doo Wops etc, along with 60's Mersey Beat & British & American 60's & Beatles Beach Boys etc, Bit o' Jazz Blues & Latin, Lots of 70's incl CCR Eagles, Doobies etc plus lots of pop stuff incl Neil Diamond Etc over the years, lot's of experience in Country Rock, plus some Musical Theatre & Cabaret - Experienced front man vocalist/mc/compare but love to simply sit in with the band (or duo/trio) - I'm a reasonable lead vocalist & I can instantly sing 3rd or 5th harmony above or below to most songs
Ain't no Eric Clapton but I can hold my own to most guitar solo & riff or lick requirements plus I've got a wide range of rhythm guitar techniques
I currently live in Redcliffe Qld (just moved here) hate travelling too far to rehearsals so like to hear from Redcliffe Peninsula guys or close proximity - more specifically I'd like to meet a male guitarist/vocalist - my age group (so that we know a common repertoire) & not live too far away to form a vocal harmony/guitar accoustic or electric duo/trio/band playing 50's,60's-90's stuff including focused shows such as Beatles, British Rock & 60's, Everlies, Creedence etc & Country Rock - Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn etc etc etc
Maybe even try Eagles or Beachboys (need a full band for that tho)
if we can successfully form a working duo/trio we could maybe expand it to a band - but fun show type covers stuff -
Not interested in deep blues. avant garde or self indulgent originals
and not interested in muso's who just stand there & look at the floor whilst they play their guitars too bloody loud
( Yeah I know - I used to do that too - a bloody long time ago).
In particular if you're a BBB - that's "Bloke Baby Boomer" experienced fun-showman type muso & vocalist who loves playing & singing 50's 60's 70's especially Beatles & British Rock give me a yell on 0418761163 - we might be able to do something
