I first started playing drums when I was 5 years old. I used the old tin bins and old ice cream tins and lids.
When I was six I joined the Klemzig and Enfield Brass Bands. I was playing snare drums and drum kits and was doing lots of marching in Christmas Pageants. I was in the brass band for thirteen years.
I was taught at John Reynolds Drumming School.
When I was at High School I was selected to join the South Australian School's concert band. In that time I was playing in a Big Band called The Jazz Factory.
Over the years I have played for Country-Western bands, Jazz and Blues bands and Rock'n'roll bands.
