ABOUT

My name is Dave and I am looking for a song writing partner to write and perform or possibly provide original songs for acts within the mainstream genre's including pop, alt country, light and acoustic rock or even electronic music. I can work with pretty much anything.

I spent all of my twenties and half of my thirties playing live original music across a variety of styles but after a reasonable break I have thrown myself into song writing again just at home with me and my acoustic so far.

I have no formal qualifications but have an exceptional ear for the different instruments and layers that make up music and that makes one FEEL something. I also have plenty of live/studio experience to back up my writing skills.

Ultimately I would love to find a female/male collaborator that has their own equipment and access to a studio. Though I would settle for someone who just has the passion for creating and loves the little details that make a song stand out, an ear for hooks and the patience to bounce ideas until we are truly satisfied that it was time well spent!

In the meantime I have a 16 track recorder for demoing and have included a few of the songs I made using it for you to get a picture of what kind of style I'm coming out with lately. Though I am definitely open to branching into other genres and going wherever the music takes us.
