Hey musos,
I’m Dylan, a well experienced drummer for over 11 years, and have surrounded myself in music from a young age. I’m looking for bands or musicians that need drums on their tracks, or to rock gigs with them.
As a drummer completing Year 12 VCE in 2024, I’ve had an exciting journey with my band, ‘The Heights.’ In 2022, we wrote and released our first original song, followed by an EP in 2023, which included a track that reached 13,000 streams. That same year, we played at a FreeZa Halloween event in Mornington and I joined Kingston FreeZa, where I worked as a stagehand at Mordi Fest and helped plan other such events. ‘The Heights’ were selected to perform at Music in the Park in December 2023 and the St Kilda Festival in February 2024. We’ve also played opening acts at venues like ‘Bar Open’ and ‘Brunswick Artist Bar.’ In July 2024, I organised our headline show at ‘The Last Chance Rock and Roll Bar,’ managing everything from booking supporting acts to selling 83 tickets. We were chosen to play in the RAWKUS gig series at ‘SoundBar,’ and we’re currently recording original songs for our upcoming album.
I am also organising my own festival for February 2025 with amazing local acts on the bill to support south-east Melbourne bands :)
