Hi, I'm Effy. I currently release gothic alt rock and symphonic metal music under the pseudonym 'The Effigy', and I've been working on a new studio project that blends all the things I love, such as nu metal, djent, shoegaze, hardcore, and industrial.

My work for The Effigy has been featured in publications including Metal Hammer, Devolution, and Femmetal.

I love gothic metal, alt rock, super sludgy doom metal, and anything with melodic and gazey/dreamy elements.

I'm a songwriter and vocalist of 17 years. I've been composing and doing pre-production for around 5 years now and have been releasing music since late 2021.

I'm looking to get involved in anything interesting really. A band would be fun, but even if you're just looking for a feature vocalist for your next, or you want a 50 layers of vocals for an epic choir, or you need someone to compose your mod-2000s metalcore intro track, hit me up!
