Hey,
I have recently started a solo project named Ego Toxic, it is basically the result of nearly 10 years of writing songs as a hobby. I'm looking to step it up this year with a single, or EP.
I'm after a guitarist that shares interest in my sound, with the creativity to take my songs to the next level. Vocal ability is preferred but not essential. Music theory knowledge would help a lot as mine is limited. I'm currently looking for someone who is happy to just throw around ideas and develop the music, cannot be afraid to step outside the box. If we mesh well enough, it'll make Ego Toxic a duo.
I am currently unable to gig in a full band scenario, and I out-source my drum recordings with good results. A second guitarist gives the opportunity to at least write acoustic versions and take them to gigs whilst selling studio recordings. I have studio gear at my house so you would need to be available every now and then to lay down tracks as we need.

If you immediately pick up your guitar and write a new riff for the song you're listening to, we need to catch up! Don't think that how they're played on YouTube is how I want them to stay, I'm a beginner guitarist looking for the next level, and what I have already started in my project studio is a lot more electric and rock-based, acoustic is just easier to slap a recording up.
