I'm a long term singer and pianist with a pretty wide vocal range and quite a lot of experience! I did formal vocal training from the ages of about 10-20 years old, which included a CPM level 1 qualification. I've done musical theatre singing, choral singing, alt/pop/rock/punk lead vocals sort of singing, singing in churches back in the day, background singing, chamber choir stuff, even acapella. I have perfect pitch and a very strong sense of musicality, so I'm very adept at picking things up very quickly and converting what I hear to playable music. I've studied musicianship up to about grade 5, did well in Music 2 in my HSC, and have studied some university level music courses at USyd (though I haven't completed my degree yet).
My vocal range is roughly an E3-E6. My most comfortable chest singing range is about G3-C5, with my vocal break range being around B4-D5, and head voice up until about E6, but I can comfortably belt or mix sing up until about an E/F5. I'm also generally pretty capable when it comes to approaching difficult vocals, and I'm usually able to take things on even if it's not immediately comfortable vocally. I can generally sing with a lot of different vocal styles as required for different settings.
I really love weird, off the wall type music. I have a bit of a penchant for midwest emo, third-wave emo, and early Paramore vocals. I'm interested in doing punk music (read: high-energy, frenetic). I also very much love PC music-esque experimental hyperpop, postminimalist composition, ambient music, industrial punk, shoegaze, pop-punk (within reason), and atypical instrumentation and songwriting in general. That being said, I also love a classic vocal ballad, and I think I generally thrive when performing music that's a bit dramatic and sad.
