Forming in late 2016, Escarion have been ever-relentless and expansive in crafting their fusion of Blackened Death Metal and progressive music .
From the release of their 'Pinnacle of Neglect' EP to their debut album 'Pillars of the Faith', Escarion have fused progressive and symphonic sensibilities to their already eclectic style.

Escarion follows in the innovative vein of bands such as Death, Behemoth, Opeth and Trivium to form a sound that is altogether brutal, experimental, and confronting.

Escarion are taking their sound even further with their sophomore effort, 'Towards a Futile Existence'.

Following on from their 2019 debut LP, 'Pillars of the Faith', the band's follow up is
marked by the addition of guitarist Louis Surya's thrash-laden style as well as atmospheric vocals and textured kevboards from their newest member, Gaia.

Produced by Chris Themelco of Monolith Studios (Harlott, DeathAngel, Psycroptic) and mastered by Thomas "Plec"Johansson (Soilwork, Opeth, Mors Principium Est), the album muddies the waters of genre for Escarion even further with the introduction of clean vocals and layered ambience.
The album continues to explore the band's favoured theme of the human psyche and modern society's disconnect from reality under a digitised influence.
