Band to Join.ABOUT
Played Guitar for five years before switching to bass. I have never played live before but I practice for hours every day. I can play most techniques (pick, fingerstyle, slap). I think of serving the song more than playing what sounds good on its on an I am content with being an only root note bassist if that works best for the song. I play off ear rather than using notation or theory but I am familiar with scales modes and intervals if the need arrives. I don't have much interest in lyric writing but I do write a lot of instrumental songs.

Influences
My favorite bass player ever is Cliff Burton from Metallica I love his creativity and his incredibly unique playing style. I also love Paul McCartney from the Beatles. On the later albums such as abbey road Paul is unparalleled. Some other bass players I try to emulate are: Paul Simonon (The Clash) Andy Rourke (the Smiths) Krist Novaselic (Nirvana) John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) Dave Ellefson (Megadeth) and Justin Chancellor (Tool)
My Spotify most listened bands this month are: R.E.M, Metallica, Megadeth, The Cure, Blink 182, Rage Against The Machine, Pantera, Weezer and The Offspring.

EQUIPMENT
Just an amp and fender precision bass at the moment but I am looking to purchase more gear to improve my playing as long as it isn't outrageously expensive.
