I am classically trained and have experience in more styles of vocals than this format will allow me to tick! Previous band experience includes rock, hard rock, covers, alternative, folk, christian contemporary and gospel, two years of functions and weddings, and one year with a jazz/funk/reggae fusion outfit in Byron Bay - we played for Sigrid Thornton and her family! :)
I am a mother of two children and have some time to myself now that they are older so am looking to join/form an outfit to do covers and originals.

Influences
Where do I start?? Early influences from the seventies and eighties include Janis Joplin, Melissa Etheridge, Pat Benatar, Fleetwood Mac, Anastasia, most pop hits, then moving into more alternative sounds such as meditation music, Pink Floyd (esp. Great Gig in the Sky). More recently have been playing around with current pop covers and some new originals.
