I have played drums for 45 years. Recently (6 months ago) I purchased a bass guitar. I am, at this stage, not learning bass guitar, BUT I am learning how to play songs on the bass guitar. I have ALWAYS sat at the back (ie drummer) and got sick of it! I can pick up most songs on bass relatively easily. I have played drums on 2 released CD's which have been played on radio stations in South Africa, North America and the UK.

Influences
I love to play songs that people can dance to. If ya can get them up dancing then you have have achieved your goal. I am heavily influenced by Australian rock music. If I cannot play it on bass I can guarantee you that I can play it on drums. (2 for the price of 1 !)

Yamaha bass, 200w Randall bass amp. Remo acoustic drum kit, Yamaha electronic drum kit, 2500 watt Yamaha P.A. system. (and anything else that I might decide to buy) Some lighting and effects. DJ PA gear as well
