ABOUT

From a very early age in South Africa I explored drumming and took every opportunity to work as a percussionist and rhythm guitarist, only taking up drumkit in my mid-to-late 30s. Studying highly evolving drumming techniques and overall musical patterns, I have discovered my own capacity and abilities when it comes to production and songwriting. I am looking to start sound engineering and recording again and contributing to a band in a professional environment with a view to bettering the world. I have great rudimentary skills as well as emotional tempo but I tend towards producing and promoting unique styles when it comes to commercial and popular music. My influences include: Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, Styx, Elton John, Supertramp, Ambrosia, Chicago, The Police, The Beatles, Alan Parsons Project, ELO, U2, Cream, Black Sabbath, Abba, The Eurythmics, Fleetwood Mac, Cindy Lauper, Genesis, Midnight Oil, INXS, The Angels, Silverchair, Queen, REM, Powderfinger, Grinspoon, Linkin Park, Bob Dylan, Janice Joplin, The Carpenters, etc...
