ABOUT

Hi everyone, I have considerable experience as a musician, and of late have found myself returning to the guitar with renewed passion and commitment. At this time I have been overwhelmed with a lot of interest and I am still trying to process that, but I could still be persuaded to become involved in your adventure if the vibe is right.

I have a musical resume of sorts on YouTube (search for "the bud flowers band")

Influences

Too numerous to get right into, but I really enjoy going deaf to things like: Classic Aussie Rock (eg Divinyls, Magic Dirt, Lubricated Goat, Amyl and the Sniffers); Classic Hip Hop (Run DMC, Public Enemy, NWA); Punk Rock (subhumans uk, Peter and The Test Tube Babies, NoFX, DKs, Black Flag); Goth (Type O Negative, Sisters of Mercy); Thrash metal (Sepultura, Municipal Waste, DRI); alt rock (Blondie, Talking Heads, early REM, Viagra Boys); bit of black metal, grindcore, death metal.. Love septicflesh. The occasional joke band (GWAR, TISM, Nuclear Power Trio etc). Synth rock (Depeche Mode, Numan, Devo, New Order); Guitar gods like Zappa, Polyphia, Scale the Summit, Malmsteen. Was just blown away by the recent Voice of Baceprot tour holy f*^&... I have also been known to turn up at the occasional rave for some breakcore and similar disco formats. I listen widely.

Basically I like music that is great, executed with passion by people who mean it, and I hate music that sucks.
