I'm a professional drummer looking for gigs/touring with original bands or cover bands.
I have lots of experience, I've played with Machine Gun Fellatio, Tim Freedman (whitlams), Martini Club, Tammin Sursok, The Trilobites. I just finished playing with Murray Cook (ex wiggles) The Soul Movers band. I'm also currently playing with electro rock band Super Massive and occasionally play in a David Bowie tribute band called Art Decade 1970-1980. I also currently play in a 70s disco themed show band called the Disco Disciples that play all the #1 hit disco songs of the 70s.
I also do production work, and through covid produced a track for the original Wiggles and The Soul Movers. I wrote and performed the drums and percussion track, the bassline, Strings, Horns, Synths and keys. The track is called Circles Baby and is in my video's list.
I've played everything from very small duo gigs at bars to stadiums headlining and supporting bands like Kiss and Robbie Williams, The Black Eyed Peas, Duran Duran, Garbage, Primus, Thirsty Merc, Living End, Grinspoon, Russell Crowe, George, 28 Days, Gerling etc.
In my time with Machine Gun Fellatio we had been nominated for a Aria Award for Best New Song (The Girl Of My Dreams Is Giving Me Nightmares).
Machine Gun Fellatio had also won a IF Award for the movie soundtrack Gettin' Square.
I've also played in musicals.
I'm currently one of the advertising producers for the Gold Coasts Radio Metro.
I've had residencies playing Dj/Drummer gigs at Sydney iconic venues such as Fringe Bar, Cargo Bar and Bungalow 8.
I have great gear, can play to click tracks/backing tracks no problem at all.
I have a car and I'm very reliable.
I'm happy to do funky covers or electronic/funk/pop original bands but I'm looking only at paid gigs at the moment.
I'm happy to do recording sessions for people, I also can do midi recordings from home using killer sampled drum kits or drum programming, makes it a lot cheaper than going into a studio.
My preferred style is the funk and electronic pop, but can play anything really. No grunge or metal as this genre doesn't interest me.
Also happy to be a back up guy for bands that have a very busy drummer.
