GOLDEN GULLY JAM SESSIONS
Informal, private, fortnightly sessions for people
who want to make some music and have some fun!
Aimed at those who are retired, but open to all.
These sessions are not for working muso's, but rather for people who play an instrument or can sing.
The songs that we do are suggested by the participants.
Each Session is recorded for the participants' own use.
No audience.
Fortnightly Sessions: Various Weekdays 1:00pm – 4:00pm (No cost)
The Monday Group is resurfacing doing folky/world music with a female vocalist, a male rhythm guitarist/vocalist, a percussionist and a bass player.
The Tuesday Blues Group consists of a female singer, a male singer/harmonica player/guitarist, a keyboard player/saxophonist, a rhythm guitarist/vocalist, a lead guitarist/vocalist and a bass player, and needs a drummer.
There is a Wednesday Trio doing a variety of "softer" music, which can include visiting musos.
We are starting up a new "mini choir" in April/May - GOLDEN VOICES. These fortnightly Thursday sessions will revisit songs from our past. Consisting of numerous vocalists, backed by a guitarist and various percussion instruments. No audition, no experience, no audience and no cost.
A Friday "soft rock-focussed" group may also be starting soon. We have a rhythm guitarist/vocalist, a drummer/vocalist and a bass player at present who are keen to get started. They need a female singer and other musos to join in.
