ABOUT

Classical Guitarist - gone bad. Versatile and disciplined, but unconventional guitarist looking to meet fellow music nerds, with a view to put together a 'Musician's Band'.

I'm talking about a band that values technique, theory and musicianship (as individuals, but most importantly as an ensemble),
Cringes at the mention of 'Genre' (yet understands the workings of them all!),
Allows each member's musical identity and personality to define the sound,
Can play live anything that's on their records - as tight as a ******'s ******** (insert tasteless but amusing simile),

...yet doesn't take itself too seriously to make people laugh, dance or come to it's gigs.

I suppose a jam band of sorts. But to anyone who gets what I'm saying - please contact me!

Just to be clear, though - I'm not into anything hard, heavy, --core, post--, -- metal, etc.

No age limits at all.

EQUIPMENT

- Quite a few guitars - Solid & hollowbody electrics, basses, steel string & classical acoustics.
- Quality valve amps - a smaller 4 watter for recording & practice, and one loud enough for club gigs. Prefer to mic amps for large venues.
- A Pearl Session 7-piece drum kit, quality assd. cymbals.
- A Double Bass.
- Hammond A-100 (B-3 with built-in speaker)
- A pretty cool smaller tonewheel hammond
- A Harmonium/Reed Organ
- Tons of recording gear. Once upon a time, I had enough space to set up a small studio. Still seem to collect bits & pieces despite the lack of space
- Keyboards
