ABOUT

I started learning classical guitar in 1965, and began playing electric guitar in 1967 with a children's band called "The Young Ones", playing regularly on the channel 9 program "Everybody In" with Jim Iliffe. I started in first Rock band in 1973, playing regularly in the 1970's mostly on the Gold Coast, the highlight was probably doing support for "Bad Company" at Brisbane's Festival Hall in April 1975. Switched to bass in the late 70's, as bass players were very much a rare commodity then, and also due to the "Funk Era", bass become much more interesting. Played with a few "functions" bands until early 80's.

Currently playing with "Little Steely Brothers", a talented bunch of musicians paying tribute to Little River Band, Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers and the Eagles, and who also perform with Glenn Shorrock performing hits from Little River Band, as well as backing Glenn & Brian Cadd with their "Two Amigos" shows in Queensland and NSW..
