Looking to play with basically anyone and just get back in to the swing of doing more than picking in my room. I've played with groups before and would consider myself a competent musician but not a professional.
On a big classic country/folk tip at the moment so want to ideally do something in that direction but also miss playing in a punk/classic east coast style hardcore band. I love everything from like old folkways stuff to experimental rap and everything in between so I'm pretty open. Regardless of genre I prefer to play and write originals - although in a country direction there's definitely some standards I'm happy to do and know well.
Mainly playing Travis picked fingerstyle recently on an acoustic but I'm a reasonable lead player and can scratch out rythym. Also recently bought a banjo and taking to it pretty well would be keen to do something with that.
Other than that I can carry a tune on vocals (but I'm certainly not operatic lol), play a tiny bit of keys and studied production for a few semesters.
Ideally want to get along with the people I'd play with, be able to get a beer as well etc lmao. Hmu here or otlsgolightly
