Hello.

My name is Jack. I heard that joining a cover band was a good way to make money outside of Uni, and it seems like a good way for me to do something I care a lot about whilst making good money.

Influences

It's hard to give a detailed list of my influences, because of the wide variety of genres. For singing I have generally been trained in a SATB chorus at the Oxford and Cambridge Under 18 Singing School, so I am more natural at singing softer, classical music like Ave Maria, however that easily translates into pop, emotional music, and anything that requires a smooth voice.

For piano, my style is very similar to Peter Buka on YouTube (although I will admit I am not on his level).

I have not played drums since I was in England (~2022), so I will initially be rusty, however I was about to do my grade 8 exam before I moved to Australia, so I reckon I have potential to be good.

And Uke is something I can do with my eyes closed. It's not a difficult instrument to play.
