Hi there, I hope you're well.
I'm 30, I live in Preston, I've played the drums for 15 years. I'm from Newcastle in England, and I live here permanently now.
To cut to the chase, I am really obsessed with the idea of performing in two types of acts:
1) A rap/hip hop act with a live band. I will list those influences below, but for now let's just imagine The Roots, Anderson Paak & The Free Nationals, Kendrick etc.
2) Something along the lines of John Mayer, Alicia Keys. Intelligent musicianship and song-writing with a broader appeal, amazing feel and soulfulness at the core.
There is actually a third type of act I'd be into, but the band would have to be really spot on:
3) Alternative, hardcore, metal, screamo - i.e. Hellions, Ocean Grove, Northlane, Deftones. I've been in these bands for most of my playing career so now that I'm 30 I was really intent on maturing haha.
There are probably a lot of other things I'd be into playing - I don't want to limit the possibilities - those are just my dream acts. I could easily be on board with your project - just reach out and let's have a chat! Hit me up!
