ABOUT

I'm James Ragghianti-Alvarez. I'm a drummer/percussionist but mainly play the drums. I am 18 years old and I was in 4 bands before graduating. 2 of them I was in involved state competitions such as ABODA and GIJ. I have been doing proper gigs since the age of 12. I like Rock and Metal music preferably but other music genres are fine to play as well as i have had experience with genres such as jazz, bossa nova, funk and more. I have performed in places like Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide Festival Theatre, Mount Gambier, National Wine Centre, TheGov, Southern Jazz Club, Elder Conservatorium of Music and many schools. Performed infront of as many as 2000 people before.

Have not put myself as an expert drummer just because I am better at learning songs by ear rather than sight reading. And also because I still need to work on certain metal tunes, despite it being one of my favourite genres to play.

Looking to either join a band that needs a drummer or to make a band.

In my spare time, I do sports like footy, running, mountain biking, and working out.
