I started playing lead guitar in early 60's forming my own band (Lead, Rhythm, Bass, Drums). We initially played school dances, clubs, and one night stands. In late 60's and 70's we were resident band in several clubs in Sydney. Music was a part-time activity as my profession was Project Engineer, graduating from Sydney Uni in 1970. I stopped playing in bands in the 80's, when my engineering career started involving a lot of travel.
However I always travelled with guitar and amp, playing at home wherever I was. I retired and returned to Australia permanently and now play lead to backing tracks at home almost every day.
My wife and I live in Tintinhull. Frankly I miss very much playing in a band with similar musical tastes.
