Hey everyone. My name is John and I have been playing guitar for about 5 years now. I've always wanted to be a part of a band with people who share my musical interests. I have played with some groups before but a lack in musical tastes always left me wanting more.

Influences
I am into all types of metal but I'm looking for people who want to play power metal. I'm into melodic stuff. Think Helloween / Hammerfall / X Japan / Sonata Arctica. I am into heavier stuff but it stays melodic such as Children of Bodom or Ensiferum. I also love my video game music and I really dig Japanese Metal because it has that feel. Galneryus, X Japan, Anthem etc.
EQUIPMENT
I have an Ibanez RGR420ex with a 30W Amp and I also have a generic bass but no amp for it at the moment.
