I'm not in love with any band or guitarist in particular but grew up in the 80s in the UK on a diet of The Clash & The Sex Pistols. I love all full, busy & melodic guitar styles, from Dr Feelgood, The Cure, through Pulp/Oasis to Foo Fighters and Stone Roses.
