Been playing guitar for 50 years, played professionally on and off for forty of those. Currently studying jazz and seeking other jazz players for jamming on standards with. Perhaps provide some accompaniment for horn/wind players, vocalists, strings, etc. for their practice, and to our mutual benefit, as I'm eager to learn from more experienced players in the genre. Happy to jam with other guitarists and keyboard players as well.
Basically, any opportunity for me to gain practical experience and further my understanding of the genre I am open to.
I'm based in Kempsey but I'm happy to travel up and down the road a bit for good opportunity. As a full-time carer I'm also available pretty much any time of day as well.

I've been taking in a lot of jazz over the last 12 months, such as Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, Eric Gale, Charlie Christian, Barney Kessel, Paul Desmond, Pat Martino, George Benson, Django Reinhart, Joschco Stephan, etc.
On the folk front, artists like Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Don Maclean, Neil Young etc.
On the blues front I'll just say, "All the usual suspects".
